SUPER healthy Salad Bowl

A wholesome, plant-based meal in one bowl? Absolutely! With our Fisherman and Peperoncino from SERio, we've got a vitamin-packed, plant-based delight here :) I've also added two lesser-known ingredients:

  • Black Eyed Pea, a source of fiber, protein, and folic acid! If you can't find it at your local store, you can substitute it with another type of bean.
  • Dried, ripe Jack! I know, it's a unique fusion, but ripe Jack adds a touch of sweetness and another dose of vitamins <3

Ingredients

Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • Fisherman A'la Tuna Chilli&Citrus: 1 can
  • Iceberg lettuce or any other variety: a generous handful
  • Cooked Black Eyed Pea: 2 tablespoons
  • SERio Peperoncino: 1/4 of the package, diced
  • Pickled onions or other pickled vegetables: 1 tablespoon
  • Dried, ripe Jackfruit: 3 slices

Tamarind Dressing:

  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Tamarind paste: 1 teaspoon
  • Agave syrup: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: 2 tablespoons
  • Pinch of dried chili

How to prepare

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Black Eyed Pea, which will take approximately 15 minutes. Drain and rinse it with cold water to cool it down.

  2. In a small bowl, thoroughly mix all the ingredients for the dressing. You can use a small whisk to combine the olive oil with water.

  3. Wash the lettuce and tear it into smaller pieces.

  4. Cube the cheese and slice the dried Jackfruit.

  5. Arrange the salad on a plate or in a bowl, drizzle it with the dressing, and savor the healthiness flowing down your throat!
