Fruit and Chili&Citrus Salad

Personally, I call this salad "immunity salad" - why? During the winter season, I'm always saved by juices from fresh, seasonal fruits/vegetables and chili. The combination of autumnal apples and pears from the greengrocer, juicy mandarins, fresh ginger, and our A'la Tuna with citrus & chili is therefore perfect! I encourage you to try such an option - you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Ingredients

Ingredients for 2 servings:
A'la Tuna Chili & Citrus   1 can 
red apple 1 piece
pear 1 piece
white cabbage 3 slices
ginger 2 cm root
pomegranate as desired
mandarin 1 piece
whole grain wheat tortilla 2 pieces
Dressing:
olive oil 2 tablespoons
balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon
agave syrup 1 tablespoon
salt a pinch

How to prepare

  1. Cut the fruits and vegetables into thin slices. Peel the pomegranate and mandarin.
  2. Mix all the dressing ingredients until a thick emulsion forms.
  3. Toast the tortilla on the burner or in a pan.
  4. Open the can of A'la Tuna.
  5. Arrange the cabbage, apple, pear, and mandarin on the tortilla, sprinkle with pomegranate.
  6. Place the A'la Tuna on top of the fruits and drizzle with the dressing.
  7. Enjoy while it's fresh! That's when it's the tastiest and has the most vitamins :)
